BONNYVILLE WITH GIFT

​Little did I know five years ago when Peter North first asked me to join The Gift for a single show in Sherwood Park that it would turn into one of my favourite projects. I’ve mentioned before, but the gift pays tribute to the legendary Canadian songwriter, Ian Tyson. It is not a tribute show though. No one on stage is pretending to be Ian. It is a core group of musicians that over the years made up Ian Tyson’s turning band coming together to continue to sing the songs of their iconic leader. The combined experience between this core band makes up hundreds of years of being on stage. It is an honour to play with them.
