My day started with a Teams meeting with Kindy Joseph, Assistant Deputy Minister, Status of Women and Creative and Community Development (SWCCD) and Jeff Brinton, Executive Director, Arts Branch/Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA) to discuss my upcoming year.  They offered congratulations and their assistance in navigating my proposed project , "Everyone Has A Story".

For the most part today I was doing computer work, creating images for promoting upcoming shows.  One of the things I learned early on in my career is to use Photoshop.  It has been an invaluable tool in creating show posters and images for website, social media pages, and any print or online ads I have had to use.

Having the ability to create something as simple as this, makes a hughe difference in your poscketbook when you're an independent artist.

Once I had the images, I spent time creating social media posts, updating my website with new show dates.  Somehow the day just got away from me.

I ended my day the way I often do by running in the coulees with my dog Edie.  There are hundreds of kilometers of trail in Old Man river valley that surround Lethbridge.  I am lucky to live so close to them.
