RECORDING SESSION #5

​With all of the bed tracks now complete, it was time to layer some harmonies onto the songs. Jason Valleau came prepared with a bunch of ideas for the songs, laying unique 23 and even four part harmony on choruses and bridges, and sometimes just little phrases throughout the songs that we have.

Today was an easy day for me because my job was simply to observe and listen to Jason’s harmonies and approve what he was laying down or to maybe offer some alternatives if I wasn’t feeling what Jason was doing. That being said 99.9% of the time Jason knows what I’m looking for and he nails it. It’s also not easy on your voice to sing 3 to 4 hours nonstop but I’m really happy with the progress that was made.
